The pictures above is the tank, stand and sump for R3900. If you want a cabnet around the stand this is an optional extra.

You can mail me to discuss further details!!;) dewald@dorrypets.co.za

Sorry, but I have to correct you on the volumes.
    The 360L is correct but the sump - 100cm x 50cm x 40cm = 200L

20L doesn't seem like much, but try take a trip from Jo-burg to Durbs with 20L less fuel and then you will see how much 20L means.

I do however have a question, this is offered as a beginner system, I am either not seeing it or it has been omitted from the information, but how does one get the water from the DT into the sump? I don't see an overflow setup or the suggestion of how a beginner would achieve that without the overflow. Sure I understand a durso-overflow, but a newbie who has never heard of that...hmmm...maybe I am overthinking the whole thing.

Great idea to have a "ready-to-go" tank though.

They can build a durso in a couple of minutes in the shop.

Of which is a critical item in the assembly of a starter system IMO.
I would be bummed to spend R9300 to get it home all to find out that I am missing a critical link to the inner workings.

Only a suggestion, but, would it not be something to consider, is to offer a 3rd option of the entire system "plug and play". In other words, a 3rd price which offers all you need to get it home and to start circulating water. This would need to include RO water volumes, sand/rock for the dsb, overflow, piping and all the rest of the goodies to get on the road to reefing...corals and fish are obviously not part of the deal because you are offering a beginner system - not a fully stocked mature system.

I am only looking at it from the perspective of recently experienced the beginner tank nightmare for myself of running back and forth 100x because there is something else which I need to get to get the system opperational, all because I didn't know I also needed this, and that, and the other thing to get my system filtering right - recall this - a biginner is called that for a reason, they don't know.

As a sponsor, you don't want people to walk away dissapointed and just call it "one of the LFS's in my area" sold me a bunch of stuff, rather - "Dorry's Pets sold me this awesome package, go check it out and get yourself one too!!!" M5CW
