Hey there Ben this was my slugger bugger and had googled sea slugs and sea hares and theres a forum dedicated to these sluggers! Came close to looking like blunt nosed sea hare (Dolabella auricularia) but not 100%. Found these guys at Umhlanga rock pools Unfortunately I had 5 and all climbed out the tank at some time or the other and bye bye - two went into my power heads and became sushi! But they are very interesting creatures to watch but you need tons of algae for their diets![IMG]

    Thanks oks!
They are the rulers of algae he cleaned the back glass panel in 1 week's time luckily he can not get out of the tank, he gets stuck under the braising, but he is more above the water than under the water
I'll send i pic to Sihaya to ID it.
I'll see if i can get some more pic of it ,but he is hard to spot in the tank.

LOL Ben! Funny little critter you have there.
Looks like all snails like playing "escape artist".
My cold water snails also constantly try and "get out of the tank" (the cold water tank).

Got a sea hare. Love to move around the tank. He adores the algae and is now also eating expensive "sushi" nori.

Slugs usually take on the colour of what they eat. The closer to algae colour they are the better. The more colours they have the worse.

So i would think he's safe.

    Nice pics!

Overfeed bud! Bring your Nitrates and Phosphates up. Pellets, Flakes and frozen foods.

Also skim dry not wet. Wet usually removes alot of Phosphates. Hence why i'm growing algae in my tank faster than my grass is growing at home.
