    Hi Guys
Could someone please give me the pro's and cons of these snails. I want to get a couple for my tank to help with the algae. Pls keep in mind that I'm going full reef as time goes by

    Thanks

they only cons i have found are when the algae is gone, but if you not going to scrub every surface then they should be ok.
the other issue is hermit crabs, when they grow i find that they attack my turbos for their shells

    else they cool

As long as you don't overstock them they are fine. The big ones can push things around, but I find that a bit of putty is more than enough to keep things in check.

Mine has become a monster, around 3cm diameter and so far no issues. Does beginning to look a bit out of proportion in my nano.

That size is above my paygrade, you will have to ask the big tank guys/girls.

I only have 1 in my 128l Nano.

Rather start with to little snails, if they grow well and you still have food left you can always add more.

only problem with turbo are when they do fall off the glass. It happens. In the sea they just wait till the next big wave movement. In the tank, we wished we got that movement. While snail is on its back its a good opportunity for hermits to attack. So if you see one that is on its back, help him NOW. not later, not tonight.

    Thanks guys
I got 4 yesterday, I put them on one of my live rock.
They haven't moved much since then, is this normal? Maybe they a bit shy at first?
    Hope they r ok though?

    Cheers
