Was looking at my tank, and saw a small white mark on the front glass, upon much closer inspection, i realised it was a TINY snail with shell, about 4mm across!
do they reproduce in our tanks?
Will try and get a pic tonite, if his still on the glass...

I remember having a whole lot in one of my previous tanks but I lost them when I moved tanks as I couldn't pick them off the glass. They take forever to grow though

Google "pyramid snails" they are tiny white snails that predate on other snails or clams.

Didn't want to start a whole new thread just for this question.

What are the "feelers/tentacles" on the sides of this snail's foot ?

Quite simply, they are feelers/tentacles, part of the snail's detection system.

Do only the BIG boys get them ? As all my smaller snails have none, but are of the same species.

Pretty much, as the snail grows, so do the feelers.
