Just noticed on my new controller that the temperature was abnormally high at 27 degrees...then I looked at my thermometer and it read like 23 degrees...I then got a mercury thermometer today and it read 24 degrees.....what should I believe and do do get them all right

    Thanks

Mercury thermometers are quite accurate, I don't use tunze (even they are very good), is the thermometer calibrated? Maybe @Anita or @George can help.

This Problem we have at work. I have a SABS certified alcohol thermometer to test all our work temperature devices with.
You would be surprised in the variance you get.

not always especially after a large shock, but if you need to take a guess go with the alchol!

Next time your in the lfs start browsing the thermometer section. and check the diffrent readings you get. If your buying buy the one with the most common reading.
