Hi MASA members, I see that there are more and more new members joining MASA all the time and thought it might be nice, over the next few weeks, to give you some info on TUNZE products...

TUNZE have over 50 years experience in making products, and their pumps are of the highest quality. For TUNZE design is much more than style, it is an expression of an idea and concept, it opens one's eyes....:(

Ideal for Nano tanks is the 6015, brand new on the market :-
    40 - 200 litre tanks, flow rate of 1,800 l/hr, energy consumption 3.5 W
R 431.50 incl. VAT + R120.00 freight depending on the area.

    Turbelle 6025 Nanostream
    40 - 200 litre tanks, flow rate of 2,800 l/hr, energy consumption 5 W
R 642.51 incl. VAT + R120.00 freight depending on the area.

    Turbelle 6045 Nanostream
    100 - 500 litre tanks, flow rate of 4,500 l/hr, energy consumption 7 W
This pump has a mechanical flow adjuster, which can vary the flow from 1500 to 4500.
R 891.70 incl. VAT + R120.00 freight depending on the area.

All come with magnet holders so that you can position the pump anywhere on the glass pane, and the spherical shape permits an ingenious 3D setting of the direction flow.

Rember, MASA members all get 10% off any TUNZE product purchased.
    Cheers Anita

I have had 2 6045's and 2 6025's running for a long time - maybe 3-4 years. They are still perfect. the bigger 6105's are great too - I had a set but sold them when I took down my system

The only nanostream that is electronically controllable is the 6055.

It does not have variable speed so it cant. Like I said the only electronically controllable nanostream is the 6055. The 6045 is mechanically controlled but it is still a constant speed.

I'm with marius here, the 6055 and the 6105 can work with controllers
6045 has a resrtiction valve on the fron that slow the water flow.

The 6125 cant compare to the vortech. It is not a controllable pump and therefore does not have variable flow. It is a 12000LPH constant flow. The equivalent of the vortech MP40 is the 6105 when hooked up to a controller such as the 7091/7092/7095/7096

Hi, controller prices are as follws:-

    7092 Controls 2 x pumps R718.17 incl.
7096 Controls 8 x pumps R1572.23 incl. (connects to your laptop)
7095 Controls 8 x pumps R2548.44 incl. (analogue settings on controller)

    Controllable pumps are :-

    6055 40- 500 litres Flow rate 1- 5,500l/hr (4-18 W) R2206.71 incl.
    6105 200-2000 litres Flow rate 3-13000l/hr (max 28W) R3160.97 incl.
    6205 800-3000 litres Flow rate 5-22000l/hr (max 48W) R4975.50 incl.
    6305 > 3000 litres Flow rate 9-30000l/hr (max 54W) R6979.98 incl.

7091 will be taken over by the 7092

The nanopumps 6015/6025/6045 are not controllable pumps, normal flow pumps.

Hope this answers most of the questions, cheers Anita

Hi, sorry the nano 6015 are not electronic controllable pumps, so you cannot add a controller later. 6045 has a controllable setting of between 1,500 - 4,500 l/hr on the pump itself.

    Cheers, Anita

No, the 7092 only controls 2 pumps, the 7095 8 x pumps, plus lots of other features. If you go onto www.tunze.com and go to pumps/controllers you will see all the differences. The 7095 has all the lights/buttons actually on the controller, where the 7096, which works thro' a laptop, is fairly plain but this again has many more features. The 7096 is the latest addition, and is the least expensive, of the bigger controllers.
