Hi, can anyone please advise me as to which pumps will run on the Tunze 6091 controller and which pumps will run on the 7091 controller? Thanks.

The 6091 is a controller that used to work the wave box it is no longer available. The
7091 has been replaced by the 7092, and can control two electronic flow pumps or one wave box. The 7092 can control any TUNZE electronic pumps. 6055, 6095, 6105, 6155 and 6255.
    Cheers Anita

Yes Les, I have a 6091 and a 7091, so I'm just curious as to what pumps I could hook up to these. I've checked the manuals but they don't list the pump numbers. I think I can use the 6055 on the 7091? Also I think there were some older controllable pumps that are no longer listed on the Tunze website, not sure? I want to buy some old second hand pumps but need to make sure they will run on the controllers that I have.

Dean is refusing my favour so I'm politely ignoring his thread until my needs are met

The 6091 will ONLY run a wavebox. It will not run a controllable pump properly, you will damage them. The start-stop of the wavebox pump is different to the way the streams are. The wavebox pump was made specifically for the rough start-stop operation.

The same goes for the 7091 I think.

Hi Anita, no you didn't answer my question.:) You told me what pumps fit on a 7092, which doesn't help me as I don't have a 7092. I have a 6091 in my left hand a 7091 in my right hand so I wanted to know what pumps (old ones especially) could I buy that would fit on the controllers that I have.

I said the 6091 was for a wave box. I said that the 7091 was the old version of the 7092. The boards of the controllers have changed so we could not tell if they would work, we don't know if the pumps are compatable, you did not say that you were purchasing second hand pumps.:)

Ok, that clears it up a bit, thanks Anita.

So no idea what pumps will work on my 7091?

No, you would have to try it on the pump, remember the 7091 is only a single controller.

Why do you not plug it in and take a tester test if the output is AC or DC
Then you will know what pumps will work

The controller does not plug into a wall socket, it only has one wire which I assume connects directly to a tunze pump's power supply, so I can't test it until it's hooked up to a pump, which I don't have, and can't get because nobody seems to know what pumps will work.
