    Hi George
Can you tell me what is different between steam pump (6105) and wave box (6206)?
Did the wave box come with 6091?...thanks

The main difference between the two is that the 6105 is a flow pump with endless posssibilities, when connected to a multicontroller and the wave box picks up the resonance of the tank and basically simulate a surge current mimicking big swells passing over the reef with a to and fro motion. I use both in my tank on a five and a half tide cycle whereby different currents are achieved over a 24hr cycle.
Because of this cycle it is an enourmous aid to liftining detritus in a system due to the different patterns created by the individual systems. Both the 6105 and the wave box ( 6206 ) are controlled by a 7096 controller. The wave generating 6091 which is standard to the 6206 and 6215 wave box also connects to the 7096, 7095 wave controller. Most succssesful reef aquariums run on this combination.
To simplify the wave box even further the water in the tank is pushed to the left of the system in .8 of a second and when the pumpo stops it then returns to the right of the tank, thus making all polyp movement move from left to rught.
The beuty of both systems they can be used alone and both can be also connected to a saftey connector 6105.500 and then to a small 12v battery which would run both in case of power failure for quite a few hours depending on the size of the 12v battery.

6125 is a non controllable pump. So you connect straight to 220V with no power pack.

it is an awesome pump. Just always pushes 12000l so you need to place them correctly cause that flow is powerful
its done mechanically. there is a little slider that blocks the intake more or less depending on what you are looking for.
