Hi George
I came home tonight to find that one of the 6201 stream pumps stop functioning.
The power supply seems fine as the other pump functions on it when switching it around.
Can u please assist asap as this pump is extremely essential in my system.
Please let me know soonest what I need to do.

Hello David

It looks as though there might be some dirt on the lower bearing. I hope you switched it off for the night.
Remove the impeller and on the bottom of the shaft remove the bearing inside clean the bearing and orange O ring. do not scratch use a solution of 50% water & 50% white viniger.
We have found the high % of calcium in some SPS tanks actually clogs up the bearing sooner than usual so more frequent maitenance is required.
The new stream 2 does not seem to have this by nature of it's unique design.
Please give me feedback by my e mail as Im not 24/7 on the forum & I might take a few days to come back to you. E mail george@aqua-africa.co.za

Thanks George I will send my updates to your email address.
How long should the motor stay inside the solution.

Will do and thanks again.
The orange O ring u talking about is it on the motor block itself?
Because thats the only orange O ring I can see when I took it apart.

No at the bottom of your magneto it usually gets left behind and you have to use a long nose pliers to remove the bearing. look at your instruction manual part no 3000.610 & 3000.612
