Yesterday I was moving my rock around and didn't notice that my tube worm had attacted himself to a rock, so when i was moving it around it pulled him out of his 'tube' so I tried to put it back the way it was... will he make his own new 'tube' or try get back into the old one?

he should be fine, just watch that hermits or fish dont try get at him, and it will most likley drop its 'head' the fan part that comes out due to stress, but that shouldnt be a huge problem as he will grow one back later, so dont stress if you dont see it for a few weeks.
