    Hi guys

I'm starting to get worried about my tube . He lost his crown a lil while back but grew it back quickly

Now he seems to be getting smaller and hardly ever comes out

The only parameters that are out are my nitrates and temperature

My temp varies between 26-28 degrees on a daily basis could this cause my tube worm to deteriorate ?

    How hi are your Nitrates?

What fish do you have in the tank?

I see from your nano thread that you have a twin spot wrasse. That fish will kill all tube worms, hermit crabs, shrimps etc. IMO he is the reason the tube worm is not extending.

I have the following fish in the tank

    Thin spot wrasse
    Clown wrasse
    2 clown fish
    Bicolor blenni
    Midas blenni
    Empora angel
    2 cleaner shrimp
And a few hermits and snails

I have never seen the twin spot going for the tube they wer in my previous system for just under a year well three twin spots to be exact

Culprits could be twinspot, clown wrasse or emperor.
