tube nennie

    Help my tube nennie has been retracted for a week and when I whent to see if it was still alive it poped out of its tube...and now its settled on sand...BUT it seams to be eating things out of the current?what should I do?

    Yes but not often like once per week
    I'll try post pic if I can work out stupid camera...I'm not a tech person

    How long have you had the anemone? How old is your tank? What are your water parameters?

    They can sulk for days at a time. Or sleep.
    But did yours pop out of the body and its out of the slimy sleeve. first make sure that it is not blown up and end up in one of the powerheads. It will get a new sleeve eventually.

    I feed mine once week a piece of hake or mussel. And in between some flakes.

    heyall sorry been away
    nennie was weird it looked like it was covered in slime but not it has a new tube and happy as a pig in mud

    It will regrow another slimy tube.

    Mine is "planted" in deep sand. and happy. What substrate is yours on?

    also sand but he wedged in between two rocks along the surface
