In my new big DSB, one halve is will house my cheato ball. The other side I want to put some tube anemones in. I know they do not need light. So they should be OK as far as lightning goes. Also once "planted" you should not bother them, they prefer that. So once in DSB they should be OK. Kind of filter feeders. but I will target feed them.

Anybody know of reasons why I should not do this.

I like them, but their "root" needs to be planted in a deep substrate. So it should be a perfect home for them.

Riaan - why don't you rather get some really awesome coconut worms, christmas tree worms, and feather worms rather?

Just a suggestion? (Not that I have ANYTHING against the idea of tube anemone's, though)...

I got halve my DSB available. that is .5 by .6m And I thought that the tube anemones will feed above the sand, and I like them.
Other suggestions sounds good as well.
Could add them plus some bi-valves.

I just think it seems a bit sad to stuff such beauties in a sump - mine isn't planted all that deep (i.e. deep sand bed depth) & I have killer lights and it's the most beautiful thing to display and not hide....

But I guess it will serve its purpose which you intend it for.
