If the skimmer is still new, you need to let it run in before it starts working. It is the oils they use to manufacture the skimmer that are preventing the bubbles from forming properly. Even after I clean my skimmer it takes a while to start working. Some skimmers I've had have taken a week or two to start working properly.

Rinsing the skimmer out with some vinegar mixed with water can help reduce the break in period as it breaks down the oils used in manufacturing. It took my Bubble Magus a couple of weeks to start skimming consistently.

How deep is it sitting in the water? This can also affect skimming performance.

Remove the skimmer and fill a wash basin with hot water and sunlight dishwash soap. Place the skimmer in there and let in run for a few hours. Rinse well with plain water till no foam is produced. This will help things along as the liquid soap is a good degreaser and breaks down oils

My TS2 took about 5 days before it started foaming properly. I would not raise the setting to high as it will continue to overflow. Leave on a lower setting and then give it some chance to start creating foam and then you can do your final adjustments. This takes a bit of playing around, but you will soon find its perfect setting . GOODLUCK.

My bubble blaster took about three weeks to settle. It skimmed wet, then it wouldnt skim. The levels in the skimmer was all over the show so just give it time. The washing of the skimmer with soap or vinegar will help things along

Wash it with sunlight liquid. Then rinse. I had a ts1 with same problem and that fixed it!

Wouldn't be a bad idea to drop that skimmer in the first chamber, that way it gets first preferance on all the gunk.. @Tremayn & @ziyaadb i think we must do some tank spot checks soon..
