Hi Shrimp - FIRST OF ALL - WATERCHANGES! MANY AND OFTEN!

Secondly - have you removed the pump itself to test it without the skimmer body?
Contact your supplier (where you got your TS1 from)..... Ask them what they think.
Ask them if they can swop the pump out for you....

Your tank should survive 100% fine as long as you do a waterchange EVERY WEEK, and perhaps a slightly higher percentage of water each time....

Take the pump off and strip down and clean, if it still doesn't work then return it if under warranty.

Hi, had a closer inspection last night and appears that the shaft and impellor have grown so fond of each other they have decided to get stuck to each other .. placed in some vinegar to dissolve the calcification .. will this work ? thanks

Hi - Yes - shrimp - this should remove the calcification - BUT 100% sure if it will resolve the issue you are experiencing.... Best is to test it.
