TS1 Normal skimmer advice

    Does anyone have any advice on a normal ts1 skimmer(that is the one you conect directly to your overflow the reefoctopus) and how wel do they work and do they skim as well as a a ts1 insump

    Frans - you mean the ReefOctopus DNW-110? Right?
    They are good - as they have needle wheel impellers :)

    Yes that is the one.How do they compare to a ts1 insump.and what flow rate of return pump can they handle if im planning to conect it to my overflow

    Usually when fed directly with a pump, 800-1000lph is perfect. Attach a ball valve to the return and control from there....
    My choice between the 2 skimmers will certainly be the DNW.
