Hi Phyrannus - the BEST touted ways, that I heard so far, is one of the following:
- mixing freshly chopped (finely chopped) garlic into the foods - soaking the foods in RO or tank-water, together with the garlic, for a while before feeding
- use "live foods" - ie, brine shrimp
- try defrosted mysid shrimp, blood worms
- Try a commercial product, ie: SeaChem's Entice

Also - it could just be a case of them still having to settle in.... sometimes fish can take up to a week to "settle in" before they really start eating...

Good luck.

Wow thank you for info... i already heard of the garlic but never tried...actually my tank came from a major disaster reason to lost 5 of my old swimmers. that is why i'm a bit cautious in everything now. the tank is in full recovery now and one is by setting up a sump to make it more stable..

One thing.. are Clarkii Clown carnivorous? do they normally eat live feeder guppy? i have this one clarkii clown (the only one left from the disaster). he loves to eat little guppy.. i was really shocked :005:when i saw him chasing the helpless guppy and swallow.

Yip, all marine fish, even the so called grazer will eat live food, they totally love the chase.

Just not sure about guppies :(

Freshwater fish used as food is morally worng on one hand, but on the other, it is not a normal food item it could have pathogens that could infect the clown.

Don't worry

Don't you worry my friend, i don't usually do that. i just offered one for my juvi grouper but its the clarkii that grabbed the helpless guppy and i really dont expect the clown to eat live food that size.
