There once was a time when retrofitting was solely the purview of power compact lamps, with pre-made kits being sold in stores by Current-USA and its predecessors. Then LED retrofitting came around and this fine art was the furthest away from the masses of retail LFS, especially since no kits were available, soldering was required and companies like Nano-Customs were happy to sell completely overhauled hoods for people to swap out on their AIO nano reefs. Now LED striplights have gotten so small and safe to DIY, Current USA is once again offering a retrofitting product with its True Lumen Pro Nano LED setup. As this video shows, if you can use a screwdriver, follow examples and peel apart double sided tape you too can retrofit your own AIO nano reef tank with solid state lights like the True Lumen Pro Nano LED kits.
