its what I started with. The LFS explained to me its the only brand that has all the trace elements and no nitrates.

'TM Pro Reef is a very good salt, but IMO there are other brands as good. I,ve recently (last six months) gone over to Rio Real Ocean Pro √°fter using TM Pro Reef for over 2 years, and cannot see any negatives at all.

I agree the rio salt is great and much more cost effective

I was also using TM Pro Reef, but due to the availability issues I decided to change. Using Seachem reef salt. I am happy so far. No changed in my system.

Using the Rio Salt. Very good salt IMO. Half the price of TM and works very well. If you want to go big then go TM. Rather save the cash and buy some supplements.

There is absolutely no problem if you mix salt.

They're all trying to do the same thing ie replicate sea water. if you want to stay with TM cool. Use something else until its back in stock, I don't believe you will have any probs

Unless you find a really inferior salt. Use a recognised brand. All will be cool.

I would not use a different salt every week/month, but there is nothing wrong IMO in choosing a different brand and then using that. Just don't chop and change all the time. So pick one that is easily available to you.

    Also a good salt.

I have alsways been using TMPR but the last few months availability really has become a problem. So also looking to change brands.

Does the Rio salt come in only one flavour? Or is there also a good one and a better one like with TM you get the normal TM and the pro.

Just want to make sure I buy the correct one.
