Hi guys,

Though I would finally share some pics of my tank. I have the aquaria amw 102.

Tank has been running for almost 6 months now, had a bit of GHA problems, but I am slowly winning that battle.

Standard skimmer and return pump, using seachem matrix and phosguard in the sump. Also have a ball of chaeto.

Current live stock:
2 percula's
1 Royal gramma
1 tiny regal - yes I. Know, an upgrade is in the pipe line
Cuc
Fire shrimp

Corals:
Pin cushion
Toad stool
Goniapora
Torch coral
Open brain
Donut coral
Sun coral

Doing a water change every 2 weeks, dosing kalkwasser every 3 days. Feeding corals 2-3 times a week.

Tank looks good.
Cutting down on frequency of coral feeding should help with the GHA

That sun coral needs almost daily feedings for it to just stay alive....dont skimp on the feeding of it. target feeding will atleast mean that food doesnt pollute your system as much.

Thanks @archiecrain. I did not really want the sun coral, but it came with a combo deal on the rock. The coral has not opened as yet, i have tried to feed it daily and still not coming out, any suggestions?

Goniopower gives them a hardon if their being stubborn & not opening.....otherwise i just use brine/mysis that i also feed the fish....squirt them that with a turkey baster when their open.
Travis if you don't want to keep it pm me price,i have a couple of others so its no big deal to add another

TBH it does look very starved...possibly too far starved to really get it to open up and feed again. when the heads are that far retracted its more often than not a sign of impending death. Sorry to be so negative.

Try target feedings of small meaty food like thawed brine/artemia etc daily and see if it doesnt react. else there really isnt much more you can do.
