Transporting Tank

    Hi guys. sorry if i posted this in the wrong place but i have no idea where else to put this post. i am interested in buying a tank from the forum but i dont have a big vehicle to transport this 1.4m tank. Where would i get transport? because there is no ways i am willing to pay R800 for a house moving company to transport it from Silverstar casino area to JHB south. all advice will be highly appreciated.     What are the exact tank specs?
    Hopefully someone on the area with a bakkie can assist

    works out too expensive to buy a second hand tank and hire transport and labour. can build a new tank with the cost :eek:. but thanx @459b:thumbup:

    Just take the hump very very slowly

    i dont have a towbar for the trailer :( will contacts other reefers and buy their tanks if they willing to deliver or will build a new tank:thumbup:

    Depends on what is all included in the tank. Sometimes the equipment is the value and makes it worth biting the bullet to move the tank..

    just food for thought.

    Ps: moving a tank is a bugger. I moved my entire house and tank included with 4 labourers. Cost me about R700 the tank alone took majority of the day and its not even set up yet...

    its the tank, stand and sump. but the tank is a bit scratched and dirty. needs alot of work to make it look flawless once again. @leslie . i have recently moved houses also and a nano tank was a mission already to move and non of my live stock made it:(
