    hey guys i have a question
    i am planning a TK trip towards the end of october we will be staying in coffee bay are there any good collecting spots near there as i would like to catch some fish aswell as corals any info would be greatly appreciated

    I stand to be corrected, but I think the water cold be a bit cold there?

    water will be fine.. i suggest you decide that week if you wanna go. simply beacuse you will be able to see if conditions are right! why not go to mdumbi? mucccch better

    is it close to coffee bay never been to TK before and we will be staying in coffee bay

    its about 25km further up.. so yes, very close. go to mdumbibackpackers.co.za.

    the river teems with life too

    mmm the kei an awsome place a little like south coast just less people.. and fairly sharky... mdumbie if you a brave diver and dont mind dark water by the cliffs.. alternitivley the rockpools and the sea provide an awsome dive.. its a little over fished due to the locals collecting for selling purposes in the season but its still worth the trip.. stay at the backpackers ontop of the hill.. if you surf there are cooker waves there aswell..
