Hey guys my tank has been giving me trouble since i started it almost a year ago. On the 11th may 2009 my tank will have been running for one year. So I kept the water chucked everything else out and did larger more regular water changes until i could see some improvement.
    Its a 5ft 500mm W and 650mm H, The sump is a metre.

Black cabinet. Lights for DSB, Energy saver globes.
    2x seio 1500M (maybe get another 2)
TS2 Skimmer, Display lighting is a aquamedic 2 x 250w and 4 x t5s, The T5s are running 15000K giessemann t5s and the MHs are aquamedic 20000K. although i dont have much corals i leave the mhs off.

Since i took the gravel and LR out the tank I also added a phos reactor and LR replica things have been looking much better. I also swithced switched from Real ocean to TRopic marine salt 15% water changes every two weeks. Bought new tubes for the light fitting which i think has also made a difference.

On Sunday I got some Live stock, 4 turbo snails, sailfin tang, powder blue, and tomato clown and cleaner shrimp. Things are looking good much better than the tank has ever been. Threw in some loose shrooms which i got from midasblenny [Thanks again] and some others the LFS gave me.
