    Just an update.
Tested my new Waterboy RO-DI unit last night. Works 100% no leaks ( unlike the previous brand used) and TDS of 0 ppm. Marco also included a free replacement filter for the 1st and 2nd stage so im sorted for aprox 12 months in re those stages.
I am still waiting patiently for my DT and main sump, but i have received my extra sump - main purpose of this sump is to free some space in the main. Will house all the chem and bio media. The guy who built the sump for me is in the Alberton area, i have his details if anyone would like to contact him, not sure if im allowed to post it on here. He did a realy good job. See pics below of RO unit and sump - im not done filling the sump with all the media yet. 20180213_234833.jpg 20180214_020318.jpg 20180214_020313.jpg IMG-20180212-WA0011.jpg

    Living dangerously.

A sump open and unprotected standing in the middle of the garage... Hope it is not long term. One over active sugar rush kid and your kick start is done. Put two wooden panels next to it for protection.

Ive added a few shrimps to the sump to get an ammonia spike about 3 days ago. The ammonia is climbing, but realy slow. My reading yesterday was 0.5ppm and Nitrate 0.2ppm.
