Urgent help needed Torch coral

    My torch is doing something wrong now, do they do this or what must I do?

    the coral itself looks pretty good they do sometimes secrete mucus/waste out of the mouth.

    i wold say gently sway your hand over the top of the coral to wisk the muck away and all should be fine. ensure good circulation just above the coral to pull any further secretions from the coral.

    Yeah they can be very finicky at times. Is it a new coral in your tank?

    yip, got it about 3 weeks back I think, time fly by quickly when you get new stuff but take ages to cycle on tanks

    any lps has no bum so mouth does the work of both. what is expunged is the remnants what it has eaten and could not digest.

    Keep a close eye on it. Sometimes this is excretion, and sometimes it's infection. They look pretty similar to me in the case of Euphyllids.

    agree. if there is any sign of tiissue loss its time for an iodine bath.. just keep an eye on it.

    honestly, nope, maybe once with small diced shrimp, the purple tang eats a lot so 4-5 times a day a feed him different ocean nutrition flakes and pellets and most of the time the corals is catching the flakes
