    Hey guys

In an earlier thread I said that one head of the torch is dying. Took it out the tank and smelled it and its indeed dying. So I tried to break off the one head and I ended up breaking the torch in 3. There is now one piece with 3 heads, one with 2 and one with a single head. Did I now stuff up the torch or will it recover.

If you did not damage the heads then there is nothing to worry about. In future use a side cutter or something similar to make a cleanish break.

it had one living piece on the head so was scared to only cut it in half so thought Ill only break it in half and itll be easy. Easy it was to break it in pieces. Luckily its looking good again. So Maybe ive accidentely fragged it sucessfully. Sorery I didnt listen to good advice guys. I panicked when I saw the rest of the piece suffer and did not have a side cuttewr so thought Ill break it.thanks for the sound advice tho

This is the beauty about branching LPS corals if anything happens you might loose one head and not the whole coral ie its isolated

They wont sting each other. Same species dont sting or get affected by it.
