    HI All

As we are getting ready to start our office tank and adding cycled LR and letting the new Tank settle, I was wondering what dosing kits is a must for fish, different Corral, diseases, white spot.......... and what can we get to keep our little piece of the ocean health and full of color, We want to make sure we ready for everything!

it all depends on what you keep, but a basic guideline is
    Fish:
vitamin additive for food, vitamarin-c from brightwell
    amino-acids

    corals
    all depends on species

    what size tank etc?
even the prodibio reef kit is perfect

Rather discuss a budget allocation for maintenance and incidentals and purchase as necessary.otherwise you will end up with stuff expiring and not being used and that will just make your name chop.

For my Tank I use the Following:

    Multi-vitamins
    Vitazin

    Invert Foods
    InvertFood

    Probidio Nano Reef
    http://www.marinedepot.com/Prodibio_BIO_KIT_NANO_REEF_%2b_Reef_Booster_Nano_12_Vials_Bacteria_Water_Treatments_Conditioners-Prodibio-PD027371-FIADWTBS-vi.html

I"ll probably change from Prodibio to Special Blend as I don't want to do the ULNS..
    Microbe-Lift.com :: Special Blend

This is for my Nano..there are excellent Products out there, most probably better than mine, but these are what I ended up buying..

i would look at using the new seachem range, very very cost effective for large tanks, and using special blend

belinda nothign wrong with that selection

I heard that the seachem range is very good, I will have to read up on their products.

I dont think I have ever done so much reading before, since starting a marine Tank! :p

Why dose at all? What do you want to achieve with the tank?If it were me....I would try to stay away from heavy dosing regimes, as they can be an expensive pain that is not always needed....water changes are pretty cheap I reckon.

you have an office tank. So I would stay away from SPS, LPS clams, all those that require specialist care. Knowing that the tank will be unattended over the weekends.

Fish, zoa, softies like mushrooms, leathers, ricordia, xenia etc would be all OK. And these all can go on proper water changes. Nothing more needed. Well nothing more needed to do automatically.

What I would automate is to get a proper auto feeder. To feed your fish over the weekends.

unless you want to go SPS, and you got calcium reactor, and regulators etc all set up. But I would not recommend full blown SPS system going all out for beginner and especially a tank that have to look after itself. I know you are looking after the tank. Unless you have a maintenance contract in place with a LFS to come around every week to do the tank husbandry.

:drool5::drool5::drool5:...haba haba..pop some yellow and orange in there and it's going to be STUNNING..I personally love watching my Mushrooms, Zoas and not to mention my Torch Coral, swaying gently in the Tank...it's so peaceful...so I'll actually say the majority is going to be softies? Or do the girls want Stony Corals..? Hmmmm maybe you don't want them hipnotized in front of the Tank gazing into nothingness :whistling::lol::lol:
