    Hi guys the tank is doing good just have a quick question im running a dsb but on the top of my tank i have 2 compartments guess it was for filtration but im not using it now do you think it would be a good idea to maybe use it was thinking ceramic rings or bio balls or something ?? any advice would be appreciated

    grow chaeto ,dont put ceramics or bioballs as they process nutrients into nitrate

    that way the copepods etc can drop down into your tank

    i would suggest you use the section as a refugium with a species of macro algae and some LR. But take some pics of it and let us see what you can do with it. In the mean time google marine refugiums and see what others have come up with.
