    Wow @Mac75, nice tank.

Like the cheato window, take a look at my thread, I added two NanoGlow lights to the back, makes it grows like crazy.

    Like the scaping.

Is this a current pick, impressed with no algea after a year, good going.

Are you happy with the skimmer?

How do you find the tuxedo star doing in a nano setup, considering getting one myself.

    Very nice tank and diy.
How did you do the window on the side for the cheato?
I was considering doing something like this for an algae scrubber, just going to be a mission with the tank full of live stock.

One thing I really wish Boyu had done with these tanks, is made the slots for the power cords at the back instead of the sides.

I just cut the outline of the shape I wanted into the film, tears of relatively easy, peanut butter took care of the bits that stayed behind.

One thing that is nice about the HS serios is that there is big slots for pipes and cables in the back.

Did you do that at the back of the tank?

@2balive thanks for the comments :) Where did you buy those LEDs from and how much if I may ask? My tuxedo chews up coraline and the rest of the algae growth was controlled with carbon dosing (vodka) but recently I have stopped the vodka and now use prodibio. This is what I dose for 5 days - biodigest, bioptim, reef booster, stronti+ and on the 5th day, iodi+. Then for 9 days i dont dose and on the 9th day i do a 25L water change. The next day dosing starts for 5 days again. Prodibio is excellent for nanos and tend to become expensive for larger systems. Oh and weekly a vile of prodibio calcireef+.

PS my foxface chews up gha like crazy...
Skimmer is sufficient with the mods i did to it

Bought the LEDs from Exotic's in JHB, but I am sure any shop can order them. They were about R500 each if I remember correctly. Also use the Prodibo Digest and BioPtim every 7 days, but have switch from reef booster to Red Sea energy as I can dose smaller and more regular with it, but seeing your results, may just go the full monti with them. Not dosing stroti and iodi+, simply does not understand its workings we'll enough to use it.

Thanks bud. On the prodibio website, under product guide, you choose your setup and then choose maintenance, click find. It actually gives you all 5 to use. I think stronti and iodi has a lot to do with coral, clam and sps care. Iodi is good for xenias as well.

I do the same thing, but its always a mission to make sure they don't get caught when you close it.

I agree. You need to open up the rocks to allow for more flow through them. Your tank looks good. I see yoy added an anemone. You need a mature tank, with stable parameters for a nennie.you don't want a nennie.to die in a nano.it will wipe. Out you tank. You've also got a foxface in their.they not suitable for nanos.they really fast growers and need space to swim. Other than that urtank looks awesome.
