I think most are battling with that. sucks. but hey, thats why u put your sump in the room. ....right where's that sledge hammer..... hehe :lol:
 
I wanna do that as well once i've moved as well, then will hav enough space for bigger sump, Carx, kalk stirrer etc.

well, got the first of my goodies for my tank. just just recieved the LS i ordered from Phat. so gonna get that in some water ASAP. gonna help kick start my DSB. i think i'll be getting skimmer,aragonite and heater 2day. sump is here, gonna be putting in dividers either 2dat or next week. so we off to a start. wicked!
 
hehe, i'll post as soon as i get the stuff, im at my place and the stuff is at Carl's place, im heading out his way this afternoon. so i'll take some pics and post bit later once i'm home dude. i know how u guys like pics, as im one of the pic junkies around here. hehe.so i know how u feel.

Stuff hasn't arrived yet. will be picked up on monday. so once i c i it i'll take pics n things. sump gonna be worked on next week as well. putting in baffles n getting the DSB going. will let u know whats happening.
 
ok, bit of an undate,
Good and bad news......
starfire and rest of glass will only be arriving nearly next week,along with stand and a new pane for my sump. as there was a bit of an accident at Carls, place. one of his helpers fell n cracked the front pane of the sump, so waiting for that to arrive.

On the positve side, picked up the aragonite today. also my LS from Phat is in Carl's, sump and going on so thats all cool. having to order a controller for my titanium heater. so gotta wait for that as well. but hopefully we shouold be getting some major progress soon. was not able to take pics of the stuff i've got as i was in a bit of a mad rush this afternoon to get to work 2nite.

will post pics take pics once i get to Carl's place next. but will keep u all updated to whats happenning.

yip, im doing so man. but the sheer excitement drowns out any sadness or set backs. its a life long dream of mine to get myself a decent reef tank, and its now happening, so im loving the joureny. thanx for the wise words man. appreciate it ;)
 
well i finally hav a decent update for you lot.

I finally picked up my starfire glass this afternoon. man that stuff is wicked. worth ever cent i tell u. gees. i will post some pics in the morning. had to rush off to work this evening, so will take some pics in the morning and post em. I think that rest of the glass for the sump and the tank as well as the stand should hav arrived today as well. thats alll at Carl's place.

I will start building the tank this week. and hoping to hav it built by next week. will just hav to see how things pan out.

All thats outstanding at moment is my CLS, heater and lights along with cabinet. then the other equip like CArx and so forth will come at a later stage. but im hoping, crossing thumbs should be up and cycling in aboiut 2 weeks maybe less.

So thats about all i can say now. will keep u posted as to what the prgress is, and yes, i'll post pics. hehe. Damn im sooo excited :D
