    Hi

I wanted to know in a situation where there is as much tissue damage as there is to this bubble coral, is there any way of it recovering? The tissue is breaking off bit by bit. What can be done to aid it to recovery?

It was dipped in CoralRX before being put in my tank. Parameters are all good.

    Thanks.

Really difficult to comment without a history......

Please elaborate a bit as to the onset, symptoms... the devil is, well.... in the details....

It should recover..... depending on what happened.

Got it like that. It was shipped to me and he had minor tissue damage but now it is worsening. It never opened since it arrived. This was yesterday.

Sorry to say but it will most likely not make it. LPS is very susceptive to tissue damage and once it gets that far the chances of it surviving is minimal. You can try a few days of iodine dips but the tissue will die off even further before it stops. So with not that much tissue left, the remaining tissue will most likely die before the infection will stop.

I assumed that it would be gone but wanted to find out what I could do next time. The water of my tank has gone a bit cloudy as the tissue is breaking off. I used CoralRx but I need to get some iodine. I have had this problem before and tried a few things but it just continued getting worse.
