Hi, can someone please assist. Last night i noticed these tiny white worms on my rear overflow. I notice that brownish color algea growing on the on overflow so i added a phosban reactor. The worms are actually moving around in the algea. What are these and how do i get rid of them?

They are good to have. Want a mandarin one day... this is what they eat.

Pods are algae grazers. That's also the reason why you found them between the algae strands. On small tanks, nano tanks, having these are a blessing. There are not many algae grazing small fish available. These pods will help to keep the algae a bit under control. Partly why for me a sixline wrasse is not a good choice for a nano as they feed on these pods.

Hi Riaan, thank you. They really small so its hard to get a decent photo. If they good then thats brilliant.
I just didnt know what the were and was worried that they might start munching my coral.
Thanks again.
