The nennie split about a month ago. It split into three - two smaller nennies and one big. I sold the two small ones and looks like the big nennie is splitting again... He is pretty awesome...

Hi T, nennies tend to split when they are stressed, is all OK in your tank?
Perhaps over-feeding him a wee bit?

Definitely stunning nennnie to have and in huge demand

Hi M, the nennie seems very happy and staying put in one place. Normally they will move around in the tsnk if they are not happy. What happened is a long story but I'll give it to you in a nut shell...

The nennie's always been happy and never moved around in the tank etc.
One day I came home after work and I saw the nennie eating my sand sifting goby... I was shocked and kind of scared! It had swallowed the goby head first and only half the goby's body was sticking out it's mouth.

Never heard of anything like taht happening before but I thought nature should probably take it's course...
After a few hours the nennie spit out what seemed to be the sceleton of the goby. I removed the skeleton from the tank and everything was fine. Two days after the burial of my goby the nennie split in two. After two more days one of them split in half again. I left them in peace and after a few weeks removed the two smaller ones as they were doing very well. I bagged them with air in two seperate bags and took them to the nearest marine dealer. They said they will buy or swop them but i needed to give them a week or two. They just wanted to make sure the nennies acclimate and doing well. So I left the shop and went back yesterday. The nennies were amazing and well! They've already got potential owners and I swopped both of them for a feather duster I've had my eye on...

The nennie in my tank is very happy. Splitting again... But it seems ok. Will keep you posted on what happens next...
