    Hey ppl

Hope everyone had a good 2010. Now 2011 is hear.
    And i can’t wait until the 13th.
Luckily it’s not a Friday. hehe.

Im getting my first hermate crabs then.

Currently im busy with a wooden frame at the top of the tank.
Its about 65mm pine that I’ve used for hiding the water level at the top of the tank.
And just so it looks nice.

Almost done with it. Ill post some pics when it is.
I just have to do some routering on the top part of the frame, stain it then varnish.

    Then wala.

    It looks great so far.

    Cya ppl

Cash is also a problem. I can’t just buy everything and do it.
It will also give me a sense of satisfaction one day when I look at it and see that everything is nice. The fishes are growing bigger, tank is getting coral line algae, and the corals are growing and so on.

I also still have lots to learn. The learning curve has just started.

I still don’t ever know lots of fish yet. I also wana get myself a book that tells me about the behavior of different fish and so on.

    Ill keep you posted.
Here is one side on view of the top cover.

    Thanx man.
Ja i dont want problems with the water being to hot.
But if it gets hot i already got an idea from a frien.

Two 220w fans with n thermostat.
    Whala. Cheap and hopefully affective.

Hears a pic with the top cover complete on on the tank.

    Side panels

    Hi there ppl.

Ive finished the side panels of the tank.
Must just stain and varnich them.

    But here is some pics.

    Cya

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Side panels asembled and front bottom skearting done.
The tank is verry close to the wall. So i made the side panels so they will go right up against the wall. Then small kids, or pets can bother with anything behind the tank.

You will see when ive got the panels up.

now i need more wood for the doors.
So far the cost for everything is about R450 +-

Im some gona use silicone to stick them to the tank frame. dont wana use screws and drill holes into the frame. Its just gona rust.

    Heres some pics.
