So after 5 weeks, my tank is ready. With the help of DallaG, we built a T5 light hood and voila, we got action..... (But it took awhile to get the design right.... and lots of refreshment........

Here are some pics... note the timestamp.... we started around 7:30pm

    6 x T5-54w, 2 x T5- 39w - Alanod sheet as reflector...

Dallas and I hard at it...

    6 x 54w, 2 x 39w T5's

    Lights and Ballast Test

The Hood going on Tank - Eventually...

    And Voila .... it works....

And after quite a few hours, we get the full satisfaction of the tank running under
    lights, skimmer, etc.....

    Cheato added, critters, etc.....

Now we add a couple of shrooms, and Zoa's and watch what happens.......

    Thanks 2Time.... Appreciated........
But I got to give most of the credit to Dallas.... This man is a walking encyclopaedia..... He's probably got jaw ache with all the questions I fired at him....

I may be shot for this, but I can guarantee, that if you got a problem, or you need advice...... Take his advice and dont question it.... I want to clone his brain....

Thanks man.... Now that is a difficult question... gonna have to get my mentor...Mr Dallas and Marius Meyer for advice.... Oh, and you welcome to suggest what you think I need.

I battle to envisage my tank full of corals and livestock, so I'm not sure at all...

Dallas introducing some chromis in the next day or two, after that we will see....

Here's a question for you guys?

How did you get to sleep on the first night that you added some movement in your first tank? Do you know how hard it was to have to go to work this morning, and I'm already plotting how I can get out of my meetings today to get home early....;)

Went to LFS yesterday to buy livestock, after Dallas suggested what I would need.. I tell this salesgirl that its the first livestock in my newly cycled tank. This young lady asks if she can help and she will look in the book to see which fish are compatible with others, etc.... I smiled, giggled then told her without upsetting her that I have the whole MASA behind me in the selection and guess what she replied? Who Is MASA? That's when I thought I'd better get hold of Dallas, cause I may just start to question her on how she gets to help people when she dont have a clue....... So Dallas told me what to buy, etc... and Voila I'm now a reef keeper....

My point is: "Speak to the members of MASA before going to buy. They dont have a single thing to gain from it" - As AliG would say..... ---RESPECT---
