Its here and its very cool.

It's microprocessor controlled pump will pump 15000l per hour at 20w and goes down to 5000l per hour at 9w.

Its run with low voltage for safety.

    Dead quiet.

9 different program settings and night mode.

Due to very good windings it does not heat water much, and will last longer.

Has newly designed suction cup to attach it to glass. Also a ball mounted positioner to aim water flow.

And its price is rediculous. About R2400 For a really solid, properly tested German product. Wow!

Looks very nice indeed. Im guessing the price includes a controller, in which case, it should give Tunze a run for its money. Is there a magnet mount, as Im not fond of suction cups

    Yes it has a controller.

Monti, the suction cup is like nothing I've seen in an aquarium before. Very secure, it has a lever to secure it. It is made from non softener requiring plastic that does not get hard over time.

    Very cool.

I just saw it in action. It in their fish display tank, the bend like a boomerang one. It moves water from where you come in, to the bend...
I doubt if this will work in any tank smaller / shorter than 1m.

Its big. But POWERFULL. With controller, suction cup that will suck dents into glass...

It comes with the controller standard. But you can remove it and run it with other controllers also.

Hmm it looks promising. What can the controller do? Looks a bit bulky like a seio to me and the idea of suction cups(be it different to the usual or not) doesnt sound so great, i think magnets are the way to go, would love to match it against the equivalent tunze

I've used magnets and enjoyed them in the past. However these suckers things are great, they look like the things that we use to lift heavy glass, or often GPS holders use to stick to windscreens.

In terms of the flow, the guys made a special contraption to make sure that their claimed volumn of 15000 liters per hour is right.:)

    Cheers
    Rob.

That GPS type suction cup I'm sure is a lot better than the standard ****ty suckers. After using that type of thing on a GPS I'm sure it will hold onto glass 100% however magnets still win out when you want to stick a pump on a not 100% smooth surface such as the corraline encrusted ABS backing in my tank...
