    I don't see the point of that. It's too small for any thing to grow and ends up looking like a jar or rocks.

    " For such a small tank we really can't have any high heat lighting like a HQI or metal Hallide light fixture, just keep in mind that coral require the 10000K "actnic lighting" but most folks prefer a mix of 10000K actnic lighting and 14000K pure white to balance out the blue hue of Actnic lighting."

    Clearly somebody needs to understand lighting a little better..... but still, a nice article.

    I like to have some salt water pre-mixed and aging for the times when I need to top off the tank from evaporation

    I saw one for sale at the LFS the other day. It couldnt have been more than 5 litres, with coral and fish. The only thing that is really appealing about it was the thought of doing a water change goes from 1 hour job (excluding filtering time) to 5 min job, and when you go on holiday you don't need a fish sitter, you just pick it up and take it with you.
