Over the last month or so I lost 3 cleaner shrimps for no apparent reason. As I couldn't find any bodies I was considering alien abduction until last night !

Doing the usual "before lights out" inspection , I noticed the mini carpet nennie's mouth had a odd coloration.....guess what there was a cleaner shrimp becoming supper

I tried to take a pic as proof but the nennie sits at an impossible angle

lol! Well the shrimp deserved it then. Better than them getting eaten by a pest :)

Carperts eat everything. Mates tank had two, they ate 2 tangs, 1 cleaner wrasse, 2 chromis and killed a large yellow tang - to big to eat.

Unless you feed them well every day forget about lfs
