Marineland has been working on a promotional Reef Capable LED that will be a limited edition silver 18-24 inch fixture with the MACNA logo and a few tweaks to the design. Only about 100 of these lights are being made especially for this year’s MACNA and you won’t be able to buy them; you’ll only be able to win it and pick it up at MACNA. Marineland will be giving away a slew at their MACNA booth this year, details of which will be divulged on Marineland’s facebook page. Although hardly anyone will ever see this limited-edition Reef Capable LED and the lucky few still have to wait a few weeks, we’ve already got one to give away, details after the break.
“This Limited Edition Silver version of Marineland’s 18-24” Reef Capable LED light fixture is being produced exclusively for MACNA 2011 in Des Moines. It features all of the v.2 upgrades on the recently released production version of the light, including new dispersion lens over the 1 watt 460 nm blue LEDs and a newly designed power supply connection. - The prize must be picked up by a MACNA. You or someone you know has to pick up the winning light at MACNA because that silver paint didn’t come cheap, so there will be no shipping.
