Hey Guys,

Ok for many of you who dont know me yet my nick is pronounced Ma-T-Wis(afrikaans) not Mathew like many of you think. Ok with that out of the way here is some pictures of my tank. Its still very new, so lots still to do.

Fuge with lots of macro algae
3 x Tunze 6100 Streams
Profilux 2 Computer Controller
I dose Strontium, iodine daily
Seachem Reef Plus 3 times per week.
Feed Coral Frenzy 2-3 per week.

I do 10% water changes every week.

The fish list:
2 x Yellow Tangs
2 x Percula Clowns
1 x Elegant Wrasse
1x Purple Goby
1X Regal Tang(very small)
1x Nigger Trigger

I am running one Mek, Don't you think it just a phase the tank is going through because its still new?

Matthewis: It could be mate! Just test your water for PO4 and that'll give you your answer. Diatoms and sometimes cyano are part of a tank maturing. However its a good idea to tackle any phosphate issues straight away before the algae gets a foothold in such a nice tank! :)

Yip,agreed. If you are doing a 10%water change per week and your tank is a juvenile, these bloom patterns are expected

i was waiting for this thread:whistling:, been visiting mr MA -T-Wis allot an every time i see the tank it looks better and better.

show some pics of engine room, the mantis tank is hooked on this system too( some pics of that too man)

Thank you everyone. The tank is about 3 months old. I wont be adding any new stock to it. Adriaan of Idol marine is building me a new tank. 1500(l)x1000(w)x600(h).
