Man this cracks me up. My poor wife has see her house turn into a small workshop with hose, tool, nets, pvc, silicone, buckets and all manner of goodies.

So gradually her frustration grows and she begins to moan, first to me, then our friends, then our family. Complaining that my stuff is always lying everywhere and the tank takes up so much space. In all fairness it does use up some space.

The thing that cracks me up is every time we go into a LFS she offers to buy a fish or a coral and then subsequently names them.

I think its a case of Men are from Mars and Woman from Venue.

yeah mine gets quite gatvol when i leave stuff lying around like RO buckets, pipes food etc, but when its all clean and tidy she does quite enjoy it.

the other i defrosted some marine mix, fed fish, then went out but left the container with the rest of the food sitting on the glass center piece directly under the lights... can imagine the smell when we got home a few hours later... :nono: man was I in the dogbox hehe....

In the beggining the gf said i can do what i want aslong as i can afford it.
Recently a fellow reefer donated a "A Pocket Expert guide to Reef Aquarium fishes" book too me.

Within the first two days after i showed her what my goals where and what i would like to keep she started k@king me out stating i spend way too much time and money on my other hobbies and not enough on my tanks!!

    I mean how's that for a blessing??

My mom(im only 19 for the record) is the same, she moans about everything but she is the one who buys the things and fish and is constantly telling me she likes that fish and wants it. but when I tell her that fish cant be kept with the others and we going to need another tank for that specific fish, then she moans again that I have enough tanks etc etc.

Suppose I am lucky, my wife makes RO and does topups without me asking:thumbup: She keeps my tank going while I am out of town on business (Dosing, feeding and general upkeep).
She feeds the fish, helps me to carry NSW from the beach to the car and I am sure I ask she will even do a waterchange. :)

    I know I am a very lucky man:thumbup:
