So, we have finally got our display tank just about up and running.

    And its pretty cool.

Its rimless, and it has a full wave system.

The wave goes up and down by at least 100mm and you should see the turbulence caused by the movent.

We also have two of the new Aqua medic Ocean prop 15000l pumps moving water. Its about 1200l total so the circulation and movement in the tank is fantastic.

I'll try post a video today.

    Great man!...

What wave system you talking about or are you refering to the two AM pumps?

Its a Tunze wave box that we have modified. Basically chucked the box and created a new streamlined "box" to work with the rimless tank.;)

Bob is probably compiling a bunch of pics and videos for us - that's why it's taking so long... :)

that sounds great bob. Any chance )time permitting, we all know how you hate writting long messages:) that yopu could do a write up with this tank, specs and engine room, equipment that you have used to create it? i am, sure the other members would love to see how it actually ticks, assuming there are no propriatry tricks infolved. Sounds like a great tank though. very intrigued:)

I will do a write-up Crispin. Most of it will be pretty standard stuff.

Its more how a rimless tank with a wavebox looks and works.

    Very cool.:)

Put some coral in tonight, the movement is pretty wild.

The fine arragonite we put in is already getting ripples in the sand. Just like the sea.

Can't wait to see it tomorrow.

Guys, i'm sorry i haven't got that video on yet. Come and visit us and see the tank for real if you can. I will however get it up as soon as I figure out how.
