A Beautiful place!
I tried dude, but just wouldnt work.
I was just calculating, with the current price of cigarates i would save +-R630.00 every month. That can be my pertrol money to go to Floh's place and back twice!:p

What do you drive, a V8? Still got the beemer? If yes, take it for a tune up or be lighter on the gas bud. How far you stay from Floh? R315 a trip? You sure your petrol tank's not leaking?

Yip the Beemer,no it's a 6.But it's heavier than the 650i I wouldnt advise anyone to buy that car,no idea why its so heavy. It is currently averaging 18.5l per 100 km.
It's been to BMW so many times to check up why it's so heavy, but just comes back worse :(
But hey,im getting rid of it soon, made a big hole in my pocket over the last few years.

Damn that is light. What car?

I filled up my tank(R500) and went to JHB from PMB, was halfway when I got there. Gave me 7l/100km ;) and it's a 1600 petrol VW bakkie

I get an av of 19.2 l per 100km in my ship.

Well done on giving up I did for 2yrs and then celebrated my divorce with a cigar and then................................

Wow man, thats a beast! Is it the SRT8 or something like that?
I've got the 330ci. Reason why i feel the car could be heavy on gas :
1. Weight, the car weighs 2050kg's where as the sedan is just over 1500kg's (same engine)
2. The cars chip has been re-mapped.

ALL the best man takes just 21 days to kick a habit, just some more to go.

@mek
how do u drive bro? I changed my driving habits on my 1300 and went from 11KM/l to 14.5KM/l.

Let me give you an eg.Sometime back my bro in law and i went up to JHB and we were tailing each other doing not more than 160kmh.He at the time had a 325ci and i had mine.
By the time we reached the Shell Ultra at Escort, my tank was slightly below quater and he's was in between half and 3/4.That will tell you how heavy the car is.

who chipped the car for you? what other mods do you have? was the consumption this bad before the chip? did u buy the car brand new? whats the current millage? sorry to ask so many questions but may help

The was bought as a demo from the manager of Umhlanga BMW,this was in 2004.He was the guy that re-mapped the chip (No idea where it was done).Current mileage 82000km.
