So i changed tanks this weekend. I ran a 1.2m setup, sumpless, for a year and did not like the fact that it wasn't deep enough..meaning from front to back..here are some pics..[IMG]

So anyway..got a tank from Bigbone..and sump and put it together and moved everything on the weekend...the dimensions are 900 X450h and 600deep...[IMG]

..I didn't like the red-border much, so i took it off. [IMG]

So we moved everything over...was a bit of a mission,...but it came out nicely....a bit cloudy at first..............[IMG]

But when the dust settled and the coral were placed......................[IMG]

IT WAS WORTH THE TIME AND THE EFFORT>>>>.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

#Reef-O Great tank and looks like everything is very happy in new home. Congrats.
Looking forward to LED thread. Did you do the LEDs yourself?

Looking good did you just move everything from one tank to the other? As I'm planning that soon from a 4 foot to a 2 m tank worried about a cycle if i do this .what do you think.

hey..thx man...yes i did..i ordered the led diodes off e-bay...and the Eln too..the other drivers i bought from a guy in Durbanville...oh and the pcb boards of e-bay too..It's nothing fancy but it does the job very well..and at the moment im only running half the led's so 60 3w led's ..I add ten every two weeks to acclimate the coral and fish..it all runs on timers....and works out waaayyyyyyy cheaper in comparison to the led units out there....
