Any suggestions, questions, pics or mods. This is the place for them.
I will start off with a quick pic of the BM after 24hrs of skimming. I would love to hear if anybody has found any mods for this skimmer yet, i certainly cant think of any.

Phat try raising it more then, you'll probably find you only need to lift it about a cm to make quite a big difference. Then again if you happy with the way it's skimming then let her be :)

Nope :( But it's on my wish list.

I spend enough time drooling over Alan's when I'm there, should probably go to confession one of these days.. You know "Though shalt not covert you neighbours wife " and all that

after all if you tell the wife they could kill everything in your tank and you'll loose all that time, effort and money she probably wont let you back home unless you have a BM under your arm

Phat i lifted my skimmer to the 20cm mark and can now control the height of the bubbles, works like a charm, just something to keep in mind when you set up again.

Phat i just find they work better if you give them a bit of space at the top of the riser to form a bit of foam, will see if i have a pic and post it.
