A Big Thank you brentv for going the extra mile for us fellow reefers. I'm sure all of the receivers of the amazing zoas are very chuffed with them. Mine is doing great. Sorry we did not meet though!

And a big appreciation Rakabos for keeping the frags in your sump till we could collect.

Are you keeping them in lower light areas or just wherever you found a spot?

Ive seen the higher up ones in my tank not open as nicely as the ones on the bottom. Bit of light shock i imagine

Hi martin, yes, ive added them to my overflow compartment (lower light/high flow) as i have seen some of my previous zoa frags that i added directly to my DT doesn't open up as quickly.

I added one of the frag that i got from brent directly to my tank, & im experiencing the same as you with that specimen.

Thanks for the confirmation, thought as much.

The one colony is under the shade of a rock and fully open. The other half is completely closed with all the light on it. Interesting critters these ;)

Gonna put them all on the gravel tonight

    Pleasure.
I will do the same with mine this weekend... Putting them on the gravel of my DT & if they doing alright down there, i will move them into their designated positions...

    Lol, jip, interesting critters indeed.

Pleasure Helga... hope they bring loads of colour to your tank;)
Rakabos was a great help for me having to be a halfway house... one of the guys even said it looked like a drug bust or something when everybody was arriving and leaving with their containers:lol::lol::lol:
Would love to see how some of these all come out in your various tanks and various lighting... (Especially LED's:biggrin:)

As a matter of interest guys, most of these were for the last 2 weeks under MH lighting in my frag tank at 100MM from the surface, and they were opening great;)

Think the 2deg temp that we had when I arrived there could be causing a slow opening rate:blush:
Gonna hope you all post pics on this thread!!! see who's got the best zoa pack:thumbup::tt2:
