I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank George from Tunze for assisting me with the repairs of my tank after sitting for weeks empty while nothing was done to it by the original tank builders.

Long story short the build was not up to scratch by the tank builders, there were weak amounts of silicon put in certain places leading the the failure of the overflow where by the overflow pane completely detached from the sides of the tank and fell back leading to chaos. The lines of slicone were also visibly not straight in many cases which is poor work by a company who have done some good work in the past and shows a rushed job after not using the time it had sat there doing nothing properly. There isnt much point is having a rant when it doesnt solve any of my problems, but in summary the service i received was very poor to say the least and George stepped in to repair the tank within 5 days. The old overflow was replaced by an old style Tunze overflow which has a component of the flow being sucked up from the bottom of the tank helping in removing detritus from the tank. Very clean and professional work George

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank lighty for keeping my fish for me in the 6 or so weeks i have been tankless and Andreas for keeping my corals for me.

Just a few quick pics to show what the tank looks like now but will post all the changes in my thread next week when exams end.
