Right, been running my tank for a little while now and really happy with the way things are looking at the moment ... a few upgrades on the tank though.
Replaced the standard skimmer with the Tunze 9002 - what a big differance with the skimmate and noise
Next I bough a chiller (that was Bryan's fault at Jungle, the most expense 40L of RO I have evern bought :p)
And now for the drum roll......
The first VORTECH MP10W ES in the country!!!!!!!!! :yeahdude: :yeahdude: :yeahdude: :yeahdude:
Thanks to Bryan at Jungle for arranging that for me
    Here are some pics

    Hi SIMS,

I got a Hailea 250a rated: 100-600L (according the the web site)
feed pump, I have no idea but it's tiny!!!
As with the skimmer, I took the original one out, got a piece of glass cut (85 x 400) and that fitted ok. The only problem is that becuase of the shape of the cup, the water level in the "sump" has to be very high, got a plan in mind though
Tremayn, here is a link to all of the detail of the RSM 130:

Thane there is a guy in the states that sells a cup that fits on the Tunze skimmer and the lid closes. He also has a media basket that fits next to it with 3 shelves. I'm probably going to order them next month.

    Hi Sims,

I have had a look at his stuff and it's rather expensive to get over here, maybe we can go in half, I have been thinking of buying his stuff as well (were is SA do you live?) It'll make it a lot more afordable if both of us chip in for the shipping...?

Well I thought that it was time for an update on my tank. Red hair algae is dissaperaing so it's looking much better, good coral growth and I'm happy with the tanks progress... what you guys think?

    Hi gaboon,
Thanks, I'm using brightwell’s magnesium, reef code A and reef code B for calcium - it is just the 2 fish at the moment... wanting to add more though
Agreed RiaanP, I was looking at pics from November and I can’t believe the difference especiall the xenia... time to do some trimming/frags :)
