    Cell-Hi F2P solution

I feed the algae Cell-Hi F2P. I also grow diatoms which I feed Sodium Metasilicate.

    Killing algae

As I grow algae and am not trying to get rid of it, I can only suggest how to get rid of tetraselmis and diatoms. Tetraselmis (green algae) consumes diatoms (brown algae). So, you could add green algae to the diatoms you want to kill. However, then you might end up having a green algae problem. Killing green algae can easily be done by adding a few ml of rotifers. The rotifers will consume the green algae and will not have a detrimental effect on your fish. Using a product like Aquasafe will then again get rid of the rotifers.
The funny thing is that it is actually very hard to keep large amounts of algae alive:). I grow about 2500l of algae per week and lose about 400l every week:(

Hope this helps. Now if someone can direct me to a tetraselmis dealer which is not an abalone farmer I would be very greatful.

Why don't you try the marine research aquarium on Seapoint?
That's the only people here, they have tetra.
