Hi Masa
I bought a calcuim test kit from Aquaria.
How do you calculate the formula ?
It says keep count of drops till water changes purple .
So if its 19 drops x 20 -calcuim should be 380 ?
I don't know if my understanding of the formula is correct ?
 
What formula do they give you? Any chance you could post a pic of the part of the instructions that you are unsure about?

Ok, it looks like you've done it correctly.

1. Add 5ml of tank water
2. Add 1 scoop of powder, I presume it's a level scoop like other test kits?
3. Swirl the mixture
4. Count the drops until the colour change

Multiply drops x 20 to give you the reading.

Although I would double check with a different test kit from a friend or a shop to confirm the results, especially as this one starts off by calling it Ga2+ instead of Ca2+.
 
Okay then you slowly increase the amount of kalk in your top off. Just remember that kalk also affects your alkalinity so just keep an eye on it. Also check your Mg that its in range
 
How often do you change the kalk in the ato as mine settles to the bottom eventually after i mix it ? When i top up my reservoir i normally remix the kalk and once a week i clean the kalk that has settled and replace with new kalk
 
I've always used a reactor, so just checked if the water clouded up when the pump came on
